Hey buddy, not trying to crap in your thread, but you might want to revise your price.
Plenty of stock around and I almost bought one yesterday, for $829.
A quick check on staticICE - Compare Prices - Australia - Price comparison for gadgets and computer hardware shows average price to be $800-$950. For the same brand.

    Cheers.

well considering it was from a month ago a suppose it would change.

but when i search on staticice (which i, like everyone else was already aware of and use every time before i post a sale) keywords "gigabyte hd5970"
i get the cheapest price of $938 not including postage charges
and a quick browse through the listings suggest that they dont have stock anyway (they either list it as contact us, or no stock available)

even the cheapest generic brand card i could find was $840, again not including postage and no stock available.

so i check the usual suppliers, scorptec=$1099 no stock, pccasegear=$1099 no stock, msy=no stock

    hmmm how very strange....

oh and i wasn't aware that "MAKE AN OFFER" was a very expensive price?

Take down your defensive guards mate, I think he was just trying to help you out to sell it.

    Just my 2 cents worth

I'm with mepm... he said 'make an offer' as well as giving a buy it now kind of price. If you want to bid $700 do so.
GU - giving everyone the freedom to post whatever they want...
so long as we can all pay them out if they missed an earlier thread on the same topic!

Both valid arguments. Regardless, this isn't a discussion thread - it's a sales thread. If you're not bidding or buying, there's no need to post, period.
