    New GFX card assistance

    OK guys I?ve been running on a temp Nvidia 9600 1g OC for the last few months looking at upgrading, but I?ve been out of the hardware market for a while now.
    I was looking at maybe getting a radeon 5770 due to the fact that I really don?t want to spend over say $250 mark.. (Unless really necessary)

    But a few reviews I?ve looked at have compared them to the old 9800gtx and the gtx 460 saying for the price difference I?m better off looking at the nvidia cards.

    so my question is what do you blokes rekon is the best option for a card in that sorta price range?

    yeh was looking at something like that, anyone have one of these cards? if so any issues?

    I've got a 5770, had it since the start of the year and I'm happy with it, however if I was buying now I'd get that GTX460.

    Good choice, the postage might sting a bit though, damn online sellers, you can get a get a 5770 from hallmark for $nice and cheap if someone is nice enough to grab one for you.

    i have 2 x gtx460s (1gb) running in sli.

    so far really happy with them. runs cool and quiet unlike the 470 and 480s. fairly small in comparison to those as well.
