Sweet. 100G plan here I come. I think I can now seriously look at getting rid of my Telstra home phone and bundle up with Node.

If you do less than 10 gig of uploads(which is likely because you get usenet with node so no need to BT) the easy plan is good value.

Internode's managing director Simon Hackett has said he understands that his company will lose customers to BigPond because the internet service provider's ADSL2+ broadband plans using Telstra ports continue to be more expensive than the telco's retail prices, but added that he isn't prepared to go broke selling plans lower than Telstra Wholesale's (TW) cost price.

You can they are called the Extreme plans... if 240GB is not enough for you be prepared to pay for more if Internode decide to bring out higher quota extreme plans.

The easy plans were added to the lineup so people could compare apples with apples. iinet only offers their 1TB plan with uploads counted. So internodes plan is based on that same business model.

As the plans stand now you can pay $99 for 240G with 'free' uploading or pay the same $99 for 300G with uploads counted. If you upload less than 60G a month your a winner. The price for the 600G plan is only $20 more... how is that not value ???

With these plans uploads should not be a worry for 95% of consumers, just pick the plan that you need and never have to watch your quota meter again.

I wish they were available to 95% of consumers.
I'm just sad that I'm on Telstra hardware so I don't get a pony.

Not sad enough to leave the best ISP I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with though.
Yes, I do know it's the internet. No, that doesn't mean spelling and punctuation are illegal.

TW port plans will also be changed, node are just waiting to hear back from TW on what the new cost to them will be before they can revise them.

They still wont be as good as agile ports though obviously.
