Stop trying to justify their shitty choices about their shitty hardware.
Whether they've 'been about' selling cutting edge hardware or not is what's irrelevant. The point is it's not cutting edge, it's shit, and it has been the main focus of negative reviews.
You're right, that hasn't stopped it being a commercial success, but it did stop it from receiving universal critical acclaim.
what can't you do on the phone that the phone claimed to be able to do?
No where did Apple say "you can take shitful photos, and e-mail them at a snails pace using dial-up equivalent speed internet connection" when the first iPhone was released. Just like now, they're not telling us "you can't even have more than 1 application open at a time, and while you can play current App Store games, most of them will look terrible."
It's not about what they're claiming it can or can't do. It's about what it actually is. And it's a piece of shit (the iPhone from a hardware perspective, and the iPad in general).
shitful photos? its a fucking phone. you take quick snaps with it, if you're using it as your main camera, then you clearly dont give a crap about photography. iirc, the iphone was first marketed and sold exclusively in america, a country that had shitful mobile internet anyway, lack of 3g wasn't a major point at the time when it was.. actually lacking.
if those are deal breakers, then dont get the product. if they're not deal breakers, then they're obviously not a fucking problem, are they?
"its a fucking phone" - strange, that's the opposite of what Apple are marketing it as. Preeetty sure the entire idea is that it's meant to be more than just your typical phone.
PS. other "fucking phones" have up to 8mp camera with quality rivaling other hand-helds.
good for them? like i said. it its a deal breaker, dont buy it. you bought it, so clearly its not that big an issue is it?
We're going in circles so fast that I'm getting dizzy.

I use an iPhone. It has shit hardware. It's still good.
I'm trying to say that something that has shit hardware, has shit hardware (concept?). And that better hardware would be better (sorry to blow your mind here).
