    Not a hope, costs too much. Just found out that the server is still waiting to be couriered. Wont be in Adelaide until next week.

    GU does about 50gig traffic a month. And that's JUST the website - throw gameservers into the mix and it's nowhere close to being a doable proposition. I'll be redoing the box from scratch while it's here and have a few other ideas on how to make sure we don't have extended downtimes again - more on that soon.

    got to remember, most of GU's traffic is outbound. ADSL2+ is not well suited to handling that task.

    you'd have to move to America for it. australia doesn't do T-x lines. but the equivalent is basically cost prohibitive. the gu hosting is a good deal, and there is more redundancy and remote rescue options planned for the server to hopefully avoid this in the future
