Halo 3 hits 1 billion matches...

...and approximately 65,000 years of play time.

Imagine if humanity dedicated that much time to... well... something useful!

    lol

Yeah just read about that. Crazy. But if that's Halo 3, imagine how many hours would have been put into a games like World of WarCraft or Counter-Strike by now. Halo 3 would be an insignificant fraction if you put them in a pie chart.

Have you meet the type of people who play halo 3 for any length of time I don't think anything useful would be acheived.

I have nearly 1 year of /played in WoW by myself, even if only 10% of WoW's population play as much as me, that's near on 1million years right there.

I justify it by saying its averages out to 4 hours a day, and wtf else is there to do between 8pm and Midnight when you dont watch TV :p

I played Halo 3 for a few hours the other day. My mate had a number of projectors and LCDs setup. Despite the hell setup, I still think it's just an arcade FPS. Not real great. I was hoping they'd turn it off and chuck GOW on! lol
