Nice one. Should be October - same month as Little Big Planet.

Who cares about the European release date?
GU - giving everyone the freedom to post whatever they want...
so long as we can all pay them out if they missed an earlier thread on the same topic!

Really, I bet most people here have inbuilt high definition tuners in their TV and therefor wont find it that useful to buy this PlayTV ...
I can tell you now that I wont be buying it UNTILL a Universal Remote comes out that can do both Infrared and Bluetooth.

Um, Chycophy... do you have any idea what PlayTV is?

Can a TV's digital tuner record one HD program while watching another? How about pause live TV? Fast-forward through adverts?

It depends whether they've got twin-tuners. If so, yes you can watch one and record another... If they've got a HDD recorder then they can pause too...

I don't know about the FF through adverts though... unless you've paused it for enough time to be able to.

PlayTV certainly sounds like a great option if you haven't already got a twin-tuner HD HDD recording system - which I'd say most people don't.
