    PS3 & Linux???

    Have many people done this on their PS3 and what was their main reason for doing this?

    IMHO, the only reason I would to it would be completely to use he Wii remote on it.

    EG: Install Linux > Run Windows emulation > use Wiimote

    Or to run a MAME emulator, or install MythTV and get a fully fledged media centre setup going etc. etc.

    If you put linux on it, can you still play PS3 stuff? Like, is it dual boot or something?

    In the PS3 system, there is a partition tool, and an option that is labeled: Install Alternate Operating System.

    Pretty cool imo
