    Supreme Commander Crash

Does anyone play Supreme Commander on Vista? If so, do you get crashes when you play multiplayer on LAN?

I installed Vista on my sons new PC and now Supreme Commander crashes after about 45 minutes of play (when the memory usage gets above 90%). I have installed the 3 MS updates rec mentioned but I can't remember if there was any other recommendations in the post. I can't find the post when I do a search . rec, could you post a link to the post again please.

Anyway, after installing the updates it lasts for about an hour and a half now before a crash.

I run XP-64, however I'm told Vist suffers from a problem when SupCom hits 2Gb memory usage it crashes. SP1 may fix it. For now an easy fix is to either get some more ram or install XP-32/64 with 3Gb+

You can either patch the game to resolve issues, or Supreme Commander Forged Alliance seems to fix many issues that the original had.

I would seriously recommend one of the following system setups with a 512Mb video card and the highest dual-core CPU clock you can get:
    1. XP-32: 3GB system memory
    2. XP-64: 3GB+ system memory
    3. Vista-64: 4GB system memory

supreme commander not sure what to do.

play the smaller maps and limit your units.
it plays better on my dual core compared to a quad = strange.
