The guys did three tests, one at room temperature, one down at 0 degrees F (below zero), and one at 120F. Besides slight condensation on the cord in the cold and a burning smell in the heat, the PS3 actually held up perfectly fine. It went back to a working environment and plays just like normal.

From a games machine perspective it's actually still a box of useless crap, mainly because there's still no good games for the platform. That should be rectified very shortly though.

    I disagree.
There's quite a few great titles out.
I'm currently weaving my way through Ninja Gaiden Sigma and F1 Grand Prix.

That said, bring on Heavenly Sword and Genji

Genji?, isn't that a launch title for the system. Im actually waiting for Stranglehold now, it looks similar to Max Payne which I enjoyed and various in game video's of it just look fun. Its just a pity Australia doesn't get the collectors edition that have the movie Hard Boiled on the game disk

Probably, but again, the stores up here are shit.
There was only one copy of Ninja Gaiden left in Darwin and I managed to score it.

WoW and JB arent getting any new game stock in for at least 3 more weeks.

I'm addicted to this game, I love it. However, that said, I struggle to say it's a "good" game, but my definition may differ from yours.

It's targetted at hardcore sim racers, the multiplayer system/netcode is terrible and there are lots of bugs to exploit to improve lap times. Harsh learning curve, and casual gamers just can't get into it.

Regardless, I still think we should have a race on PSN!
