doubt it. Most likely we will the MotorStorm package arrive.

Even if it drops another $100, its still too expensive.
$899. Heaps more affordable. :/
Unless you're looking for a quality Blu-ray player with DVD upscaling, then at this present time it's still too much money for a games console... esspecially considering there won't be any decent games available until September-December.
We probably won't see one for at least another 6 months me reckons, we did have a delayed launch after all.Today, Sony confirmed to GameSpot that a fusillade of reports from US retailers had augured last week. As of July 9, the PlayStation 3's North American price point is going south. The next-generation console will cost $499 in the US and $549 in Canada, the same price as the discontinued 20GB model. So far, the price drop is for North America only. "This news does not affect any other PS3 territory," said Dave Karraker, Sony Computer Entertainment America.
The public in general still view it as a console which is what its primary function is anyway... and anything over $600 is too much imo.
Its easy to spell out what it can do but most of the people buying it want to play games thats it.
GU - giving everyone the freedom to post whatever they want...
so long as we can all pay them out if they missed an earlier thread on the same topic!
Taken from ps3.qj.net, who took it from Smarthouse news allegedly
According to Australian consumer tech website Smarthouse News, Michael Ephraim, the Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment in Australia, has confirmed that an official announcement regarding price cuts for PAL PS3s will be made on July 12.
This coincides with earlier word from SCEE that Europe will be getting a price cut announcement during this year's E3 Media and Business Summit to be held on July 11 to 13.
People in the industry expect that the PS3 will be getting a price cut of as high as 17%, which will bring the cost of Sony's next gen video game console down to AU$ 829 (US$ 715). North American PS3s - both the 60GB and 80GB models - are getting a US$ 100 price cut.
