more likely the DA converters in small MP3 player will have problem producing those frequencys accuratly. I intend to test my ipod once I have my reference set up done.

Well I ended up buying the ipod classic and itunes is as ghey as ever, why oh why they didnt just make it drag and drop. And so I have a question itunes scanned my music b4 it was orderd and now it is kinda ordered and music is in other locations how do i refresh the list. why do they make it so difficult when it can be so easy.

itunes is awesome. but i don't own an ipod, so maybe thats why it works perfectly for me.

we own 5 ipods and 2 iphones. itunes works fine. it IS drag and drop, you just have to turn off syncing, and if you dont want it organising your library, turn that off too.
