Tiesto

While I don't condone DJ worship I thought it would be stupid not to attend when Tiesto is playing my home town.

I love the majority of his productions (minus his newer stuff), ISOS 1-3 and 6, and his albums are nice.

I'm heading out in a few hours and will report back, hopefully with decent pics. Apparently his set last night here in Bris was relatively few of his older productions and mostly driving, uplifting trance - something I wouldn't usually think him capable of. I've heard surprisingly good reactions since I was under the impression he was mostly over hyped and an average DJ.

Please don't post if you don't know who he is or have nothing to contribute.

yeah apparently for the brissy he will be doing his in search of sunrise club stuff which is still fkn fantastic, but not a proper concert production like elements of life

what a ****ing weekend. tiesto was un****ingbelievable. spent like 7 hours in that club **** its awesome. love the drum and bass room upstairs near the smoking balcony.

and on saturday night went to happy hardcore at Rockafella's oh em gee still ****ing scattered.

heh, rockas! how good. such a shit hole but i used to have a lot of fun there back when i used to be a dirty little raver.

tiesto was very good, wish i could say the same about the crowd but that's to be expected. waiting to get the photos back.

still think he's over-rated, no where near the best dj in the world but he did play a solid set and had the club eating out of his hand. my armin van buuren tickets came the other day, looking forward to that but might not be able to go cause it'll be in the middle of uni exams =(

yeah, guys like armin, sean tyas, menno de ong are much better musicians imo, but he has the stature and like you said crowds always love him because of his name, but there are AvB is 10 times better i agree

so pissed that armin came after tiesto, i would have much rather seen AvB, but alas i have no cash because im going on a 2 week holiday to bali in july, but he loves aus so he'll be back. but you have to go :P even just for a little while, for me!

god damn the dancefloor was rediculous man. lucky i was so ****ing chopped, and was in my own little world, i didnt really notice. did you see a guy get up on someones shoulders at about 2am near the front of the dancefloor? because i was the big freak undernieth him :P

Man, i could see how rocka's would get old fast, but compaired to Time in darwin, it's the ****ing taj mahal of raving, wicked tunes, insane laser light, good people, and yellow smilies! =)

I saw Avb last time he was in Australia. Very good And Sean Tyas had me dancing in Melbourne this year!!

I guess I will have to catch Tiesto in Ibiza or something :P
