Avatar Creation Problems!?`~

So, trying to make myself a new avatar that is nice and simple. However, I suck at using paint and paintshop pro and wouldnt even know where to start when trying to do what im trying to do... if that makes sense?

I've added the attachments below of what i want.
But my problems are this.
I cant join the PAz together with a small black boarder around the font. I also can't get paint or PSP to do the z i want with the tail and arrow that i draw.

A small list of needs
1. Must be made 1000x1000 pixels for steam community friendlyness.
2. Needs a 5 pixel black boarder around the avatar.
3. The PA need in something like Bradley Hand ITC or something similier.
4. Heres the main problem. I can't seem to create a z like the one in image2 that i draw. and this z needs and arrow.
5. The PAz needs to look clean and smart overall.
6. background: pref to white.

Any person thats good at this stuff can prolly whip me up one in 3.45mins. Any help would be fantastic! and which ever i use in the end you can always look at my avatar and say "i made that for him". just dont look at my posts cos sometimes i babble to much...

edit: okay rec's done some coolness - clicky for 1000x1000 (did it at 2000x2000 for you so you can use it for whatever if you want it - priv me your email addy and i'll send the pshop file if you want it)

I reckon the circle surrounding the A should be thinner, so it doesn't look like Poz.

Oh, and no one should have an upload limit anymore? Will investigat that.

sorry rec, i havent tried uploading an image since partway through the motivational poster thread, didnt realise i could link as per above tho, im more than happy to do that myself

edit: re circle - it's a font - dont have my tablet here to sort that :/
