Hi guys

thanks to Tr3nton (i think?) I found this forum and would just like to update you guys on how Pball is going in the NT from our end.

After a long and difficult process, Dept of Planning and Infrastructure and the Planning Consent Authority have given in principal approval to run a Pball venue at Freds Pass Sporting Reserve.
We are still waiting for the written document but we should get it in the next few weeks.
I have read some of the most recent posts here and would like to clear a few things up.
Private ownership will not be allowed in the NT... thats the law we cant do much about that.
What I can say is the markers we have purchased direct from the US are a very high performance piece of kit for a rental.
They are equal to many Tourney grade markers so you wont see the clunky rattlers that most fields run. Go here to check out the Smart Parts Vibe

Another point I would like to make clear is that although the NT Firearms Branch will enforce very strict regs and operational standards they have been nothing but very helpful and professional and I have only good things to say about them.
They have also approved the venue.

I would like to apologize for the website and the phone but as you can appreciate we are not web designers and have had "Far Bigger Fish to Fry"
I have been 24/7 for the last few months to get this to happen and some things were let slip...
As for dickhead neighbours... yes well thats life each to their own, I just wish those neighbours that were against it had stuck to the facts and not talked so much BS.

We hope to be open some time in Jan due to all the delays etc... it is not ideal but some of the hardcore crew will brave the "wet"

We will obviously make it very well known when we are sure of a start date, I hope to see some of you guys out there to shoot your mates...if you have any...=0)

quick question: what sort of cover is your field going to have? will it be those big inflatable things or more permanent structures?
