Radiosity now!
Following on from the Ray Traced gaming thread the other day I give you - a Radiosity lighting engine for games!
YouTube - Enlighten GDC 2008 Pre-Release Workflow Video For those that don't know, radiosity is how the real world lights and shades your environment. A radiosity engine calculates how light reflects/re-emits off surfaces in a scene, changing hue depending on the surfaces it hits, and the reduction in brightness caused by different materials/colours.
