Freedom LAN #3 was like Super Saiyen, stupid and weak. Not many people turned up, even though we opened on time, had good tables and no power problems.

But we will never know how bad it actually was because Unseen and ZeReaper weren't there to offer their constructive critiques.

Freedom LAN #4, with a Power Level well over 2 million billion, will be held from 4pm the 14th to 4pm the 15th of June.

The rego page will be updated this evening to reflect the next time.

Freedom LAN #4 will include a free BBQ on the Saturday evening for all ULC members.

Drinks will still be on-sale for just $1 and we are looking at adding chocolate and chips (tell us what you want).

We are still happy to hear from volunteers - as usual the deal is that you get in for free if you do 8 hours for us.

Volunteers and FL4 Console Power players will be able to register their interest on our registration page from later this evening.

Fredom Lan Special annoucement!!!

FL4 CONSOLE POWER!!!!!!!!

For freedom lan 4 I will be organizing 2 or 3 possible Console Tourneys

Tourney 1
Game: Tekken Tag
Format: Depending on numbers either Round Robbin, Or Dbl Elimination
Prize: Free Pizza for winner

Tourney 2
Game: Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
Format: As above
Prize: Free entrance to next FL

Tourney 3
Game: Halo
Format: 4v4 ctf and king of the hill games, round robbin, Hopefully will get 16 players
Prize: None as of yet, look for announcements

You will not need to bring anything to compete in this tourney. If significant numbers can be reached the Tekken Tag tourney will be 2v2

Two Tv's are available one is a sony 108cm wide screen, the other is a Sony 68cm flat screen.

The consoles will be provided, standard controllers for the Ps2, I think 4 S type controllers for the x-box will be available.

You may change you controller config before the match starts.

We have now updated our registration page, so that you may register for the tournaments when registering for Freedom LAN #4.

BrAiN DaNcE will also create 1337 icons at some point to jazz it up.

Hmmm, im an old school Street Fighter player and would die to get some human Vs matches, coz havent played any in years thanks to the shit arcades up here, But the VS series have always been pretty crap to me. Usually piss me off, Never even played MvC2, had #1 on Dreamcast for awhile though. I guess ill enter though. btw what console are u gonna be playing MvC2 on? Dreamcast? or has it been released on xbox?. If its DC I got pleanty more fighters. Soul Calibur instead of tekken? YES PLZ :P
Soul Calibur is good for new players aswell coz they still have a good chance of winning, you can pull of some awsome looking moves by just button mashing hehe.

I might be able to get a DC and some arcade sticks for the night aswell... just gotta talk to my source... Bring all your DC games, and we will see...

Spread the word... we need at least 16 players for the halo tourney to go ahead... otherwise its just gonna be some fun games....

Right now tho there's only four registered Halo players. Get out there and get your friends to sign up as well if you want a really good game.

I will do my best button mashing possible in MvC2 :P and try and remember the moves for Tekken tag!! Played it alot when i first got my PS2.
