Freedom Lans #2 Comes To A End

well i had a ball to say the least
was a wicked lan
cs was played for about a hour or so
dc was played for 14 hours or so
with some q3 in thre and ut aswell

organisation wasnt GREAT but considering it was tere 2nd lan and first with a fair amount of people i think they did a alright job
power was a bit of a problem through the night *looks at raker * but other then that was all good

but i did enjoy the lan and am lookign forward to the next one whenever it is hopefully 3 or 4 weeks :P

Power was a problem at the start, I'm told, after which is was basically raker kicking out the cord.

Aravi and the Man-with-the-LAN will be looking closely at power this week, they tell me.

The ULC Executive has also created a Freedom LANs Committee, who have authority to run the LANs. If you want a say in how they're run, email Steven: treasurer@ulc.org.au and ask to join up.

Although you don't need to be on the committee to volunteer to carry those f*cking tables

other than that it was good

Aravi and lani seemed to be the main 2, running about. I think Harb and myself ended up fixing the power. The power was screwed because you had 15computers all piggybacking off power boards all on the same curcuit ..

Power was a problem until late into the night after we found 3 different circuits from which to power all the computer .. Extension cords might have helped a tad too.

I dont mean to take you apart but the tables, were for me, shocking .. I found them to be too small and very cramped, came out with soar wrists from having to lean them on the edge, maybe something too look at in the future.

to not carry tables, in fact, i never wish to see a table again, i am only glad that I never have to have another exam because i would of course enter an irrational rage upon having to view the desks in building 24 leading to the deaths of everyone there.

You know how after a while high school is a fond memory, well in the same fashion our (lanrights) lans roxored and had more people, i also didn't need to carry tables much, that was good...

personally I blame the student onion, because they smell, and securitah, for umm being smelly, also the man, because he umm smells

Hey all

I did appologize about the power,but I did say I would take over so you had to use my server.

Anyway apart from that, I have been watching the HLTV Demos on my server and all the ppl that used it, thank you. Also I enjoyed watching them. Some funny shit right there. Also it should be good for anyone that wants them for there movies.

Im getting things together for some stats of those that played and also for those that give a shit about stats anyway.

All in all, I had fun and it is always good to see everyone enjoying themselves at a lan.

Also a big thanks to Aravi for assisting with some of my Linux difficulties.

Plus thankyou for allowing my server on the network.
