Well it's on again this Anzac weekend. Once you've paid your respects to all of our anzac soldiers, you can come to Freedom LANs and blow up Axis, Terrorists, Iraqis, GLA ... anyone you don't like!

When: Anzac weekend, 4pm Sat 24th to 4pm Sun 25th.
Where: The CDU student lounge.
What: Freedom LAN. Bring your PC and your console games.

As usual drinks will be for sale for $1 a can. Since we now can, we may run a BBQ as well, with snag-and-bread for 50c each.

Maybe we can have another 4v4 match - I wish the last one hadn't crashed. I was having a great time digging in our positions with lasers ... hundreds and hundreds of wonderful lasers ... 7 rows deep in places .... :twisted:

I have shown you before how puny they are compared to the might of the Red Army! Infantry all the way.

Though I am working hard on my tactics against the GLA atm... Damn RAYIA and that demolitions general took me out in 6 MIN! But this time I WILL WIN! *evil laughter*

err a bit distracted there... But you get my point :P

And my point is that a few firebases with snipers will clean up an infantry rush easily. Meanwhile, in a 4v4 match I can have an airforce general's super raptors discouraging any passing nuke cannons and nuke migs from having silly ideas.

In a team match the laser general can actually contribute to victory, by making the cost of assault very, very high. Once you dig in your ally's position, you can build auroras for fun, pleasure and enemy airfield/superweapon suppression.

Dammit, now I wanna play.
