Talking I just died and went [really close] to beer heaven.
Belgium is a stones throw away, and that's apparent when at an IGA-esque mini-supermarket in Paris I can pick up a 6 pack of Leffe for AUD $9. That's compared to the AUD $11 in London for a 4 pack, and AUD $18 in Australia for a 4 pack. It's even cheaper at proper supermarkets.

On top of that, I can get Leffe 9, unavailable in Australia and not yet seen in London.

A bunch of other Belgian 6 packs were available just as cheap, if not cheaper. That includes Hoegaarden.
