Guinness Red
Just when rec thought it couldn't get worse there is Guinness Red. They have changed the type of barley to get the colour but all other ingredients remain the same.
Its only on trial in the UK at the moment but could go worldwide.

Sweeter? You mean they're trying to re-add the flavour that has slowly dissapeared over the past decade due to simplifying the recipe so it can be brewed anywhere in the world?
This is a good thing, not a bad thing. It may actually make Guiness worth drinking.

We'll see. I hope it gets to this side of the world.
Reading through the website it sounds as if its not even available in Ireland yet. I suppose they need to perfect it before the give it to the most discerning Guinness consumers
