Bloody awesome beer. One of Belgium's finest widely available exports.

um in the scent I didn't notice any floral more of just a dark sweet smell even a light chocolate scent.
in the flavour OMG there was like honey, chocolate it was very sweet and made me come back for more. didnt notice any fruit flavours. For anyone this beer is a must so wake up tomorrow dont pass go dont collect $200 just go to your nearest seller of fine beers and get one make sure you have your favorite beer glass to pour in and just take your time dont scull watch the birds listen to the wind look at the blue sky and the clouds move while you sip your beautiful beer.

It looks as though you served it cold, which is why much of the aroma and flavour was hidden.
It's a Belgian strong dark ale, which means serve it at cellar temperature. 12-14 degrees celcius is best, but definately no colder than about 10 degrees. Have another at the serving temperature recommended for complex bottle-fermented dark ales, and you'll discover even more greatness. PS. if you're a fan of this, dry the Gulden Draak, Trappistes Rochefort 10, St. Bernardus Prior 8 and Leffe Brune.

I almost prefer the red, which is a more of a typical dubbel/brune styling. All delicious. Although the tripel (white label) seems to lack a bit. The Westmalle Tripel is a far better brew of its kind.
