Coopers Vintage Ale, first ever release (first batch 1998).

If it has been stored right it'd be damn brilliant, apparently... It's one of my favourite Australian beers, but this wouldn't be worth the $2430 price difference regardless. Instead I'll go buy a latest release for $70. ;)

For interests sake, it seems cases from 2002 are going for around $500.

It's generally highly underrated in my opinion. For interests sake, here are a couple reviews of this beer from a couple of highly respected food & bev writers...
