Schützenfest (Adelaide) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sch?tzenfest is a German cultural festival held annually in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. Translated from German, it means 'Shooting Festival', though Adelaide's youth attend the event to drink beer. A variation of Schutzenfest often used is "Shitzenfaced"[1] which is inherited from the vulgar term "Shitfaced" and is used in reference to people who drink excessively (or plan to) whilst attending the festival.

Thats the lowest temp in a long while for Shutzenfest. Low temps mean BIG numbers, get there early or you'll get turned away.

I'll be meeting Nyt there at 11:30 for the noon opening dash to get seats. Then again if its 26 standing and walking around is not as much of a problem as usual.
